Mario Batali's favorite recipes from the part of the boot starting in Roma and heading south to Napoli, and they represent traditional cooking as done in the home, more than in restaurants. All linocuts were carved by Jim Dine in Walla Walla, Washington, and printed directly from the blocks. Typography and letterpress using handset ATF Bulmer type, with Stephenson Blake and wood type titling. Printed on a Vandercook SP20, on Somerset paper. Bound in French cloth over boards. Printing and coptic binding done by hand in New York City, 2012. There are 100 signed and numbered copies in this edition. 9"1/2 by 7"3/4.
